Returns & Refund Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase simply return the regular-priced item(s) for a full refund (less the shipping charges) within 30 days of the delivery date. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery will not be accepted.

All SALE and CLEARANCE items purchased are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for a refund.


To receive a full refund of the purchase price, you must return your regular-priced item(s) (excluding sale and clearance items) within 30 days of the delivery date and must meet the following conditions:

• Merchandise must be returned in its unopened original packaging and in perfect  condition. In order for a product to be in perfect condition, it must be unworn,  unmarked, and have no traces of use. Item(s) returned due to possible defect are subject to verification. 

• All original packaging must be intact.

• At the time of return, please include the original packing slip sent to you with your order and circle each item to be returned. If a clearly marked packing slip is not included, delays may be possible.

If your returned item does not meet this criteria, or is determined not to be defective, we will send a follow-up email within 2 days and/or return the item back to you.

Original shipping charges are not refundable.

Splash of Fantasy is not responsible for any return packages that are not  received and/or lost in transit. Please contact the carrier (ie. USPS) directly in these circumstances.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) - Original shipping fee will be withheld from the refund for orders returned by carrier due to these circumstances:

  • Unclaimed packages 
  • Undeliverable address

Restocking fee (15%) may apply in following circumstances:

  • You think there are less strands in the package than advertised

You eyeballed the quantity of strands in the package and think there are "only 40 strands in there".  Our tinsel is made to order in-house and machine counts the strands. Then human bags it. In fact, we always add up to 10 extra strands per color to the package to cover you for cases of trial and error. Our tinsel is designed to add subtle effect, so it is thin, just 3 x thicker than human hair and the package may appear smaller. If in doubt, please count the strands. We guarantee our packages contain more rather than less. All returns for this reason will be inspected. 

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then a refund of the purchase price (less the original shipping charges) will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 2-3 days.

  • If the order was made using a credit card or debit card, a refund will be issued to the credit card used for that particular purchase.
  • If the order was made using any other method, such as a Gift Certificate or Coupon Code, a store credit will be applied to your online account or a Gift Certificate will be emailed to you. 

All shipments and returns are handled by USPS for domestic orders and by the chosen shipper if an international order.

Purchases not made directly on are not eligible for a refund. This include purchases made at any other marketplace.

Exchanges (if applicable)
Splash of Fantasy does not have a product exchange program in place and does not exchange any merchandise. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. For this reason, send us an email at 

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
